A brand renovation.

Bucktide is a small custom construction company in Seattle that specializes in high-end residential builds. They came to Season looking for a way to expand beyond simple word-of-mouth. We delivered a new visual identity and a brand story centered on their unusual, memorable name.

The short brand story I crafted—a mix of get-your-hands-dirty practicality and lofty aspirations. It was important to Season and the client that we retain the idea of “beauty” in this story, an uncommon phrase in the construction industry and one more thing that sets Bucktide apart.

The master statement I wrote for Bucktide, which uses the origin of the company’s name as a window into the company’s ethos and personality.
